VAI Architectural Canopies are pre-engineered, complete canopy systems sold in kit form. Canopies come ready to assemble and install using a mechanically fastened method, so no welding is required. Each kit includes CAD shop drawings and installation guides, making assembly and installation easy and hassle-free. Our line of hanger rod canopies is adaptable, versatile and significantly lighter than structural steel canopy alternatives. Each canopy contains an internal gutter system (downspout or scuppers) and comes in 12 standard colors with the option of premium and custom colors.
Common applications include industrial warehouse loading docks, multi-family apartment buildings, shopping centers, stand-alone retail centers, master planned residential communities and more. VAI Architectural canopies are a great value engineered option for any project of any size.
VAI Product Profiles
The VAI Architectural Canopy system offers a variety of options, ensuring a match for the aesthetic and budget of any project. There are 5 unique fascia profiles that come in 6”, 8” and 12”, and 4 deck panel options. Each kit includes wall plates, return arms and clevis brackets, all powder coated and ready for installation.
VAI Architectural Canopies are pre-engineered for IBC 2018 criteria for each size from 3’ to 6’ projection. The entire size specific shop drawing library is available online, along with product specific installation guides. For an additional fee, an engineered stamped drawing for your site-specific project is available.
